"I am a 42 year old single mother of 4 who finished my PB Pharmacist Assistant course in 2013 through S Buys at Medipost Training Academy. This was a life changing event in my life as it not only opened numerous doors but also created new opportunities. Not only did this help me with self pride and confidence but it has also assisted me with knowledge that I can take back to my community and share with others not so fortunate than myself.

My new qualification also had a major impact on my personal life and financial independency. It placed me in a position to provide for a better future for my children and me.
I wish to thank all involved in providing me with the opportunity to further my studies and to enhance not only my life but also those who are dependent on me. Empowering someone does not only mean you help another person, but it also means you help a family and community.
Forever grateful"

"I joined MEDIPOST PHARMACY as a packer in July 2008. Having faced the negative side of life through life’s journey, I had no problem to live an ordinary life, with an ordinary job, around ordinary people.

Light, they said, was at the end of the tunnel, yet I could not even see the tunnel itself. Being a picker-packer was my life until 2010 when it was announced that I was one of the successful candidates for the Pharmacist’s Assistant, Learner Basic course. Life took a turn in the right direction. One step led to the other and in no time I was officially registered.
The learning process was superb. The administration was fantastic in promoting a culture of learning. Lifelong learning became part and parcel of me. The facilitation was second to none. Yes, it was not all rosy all the way, neither was it a walk in the park, but supported by the academy, we remained focused. In no time, the Basic course was history and the Post Basic course was now underway. Propelled by the success in the basic course, we soldiered on. It is again important, at this juncture, to mention that the support rendered by the Academy was marvelous. February 2013 was the best month of my life when we completed the Post Basic course.
My appreciation goes to MEDIPOST PHARMACY for providing me with an opportunity to study and to the ACADEMY for nurturing me all the way. I am now glad that I can walk in any pharmaceutical organization, anywhere in the world, with my qualification in my hand and be a significant asset. Please allow me to borrow from the Legend, Madiba’s bag of wisdom, ‘IT ALWAYS LOOKS IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL IT IS DONE’. So has been my success story at NO. 593, NICO SMITH STREET, GEZINA, the most successful ACADEMY, SOUTH OF THE SAHARA.
Once again, THANK YOU MEDI TRAINING ACADEMY"
"My name is Maureen Modibedi. I started working at Medipost on the 4th of October 2004 as a management receptionist. I have worked as a GEMS call centre agent in 2007 and I was selected to do the Pharmacist Assistant course in 2008. I was moved to GEMS Order Processing department and worked as an administrator. While I was busy with my Post Basic course, I was moved to the finance department in 2010 as an operational co-coordinator for debt management process. I was also moved to Customer Care Department in 2012 and my knowledge of Medipost process I was an asset to the Customer Care Department. Due to the growth of the company, there was a new department established (DOH) which I am currently working at. I have seen the growth of this company and with my long standing employment history in combination of my knowledge and skills will contribute in the growth of this company."
